Sip, sip, Hooray!
On Saturday 25th June 2020, we held a Summer Show and Afternoon Tea in church. It was a sell-out, sumptuous success set to music to suit every taste!
Summer Show
The Summer Show was highly competitive with entries across the classes in both the adults’ and children’s sections. Although they say it’s the taking part that counts, we all know that winning matters too. Congratulations to all our entrants and especially:

Afternoon tea
Familiar faces and visitors alike were delighted by the afternoon tea, prepared, presented and served by a team of tireless volunteers.
Special mentions for Kathryn Newell and Katie Pollock who steered the ship and to Ellen Bentley and Caitrin Robertson who staffed the galley!
Raffle
Tickets for the raffle were sold assiduously by Rhian Granleese and Coco Williams and the crowd expertly cajoled into an extra glass of prosecco by compere-in-chief and Treasurer extraordinaire, Andrew Chevis.
Funds raised
All in, we raised a whopping £855 for the renovation of the Contact Centre (church hall) loos, which is currently in train.
Huge thanks to everyone who worked so hard, bought tickets and contributed to make the day such a runaway success!
