Your pounds, their pennies!

Our church hall (known as the Contact Centre) is 60 years old in 2022, as are its loos.

Old loos

We need to raise £40,000 so that work can be completed this summer on modern, accessible washrooms with new loos and showers to benefit all users, young and old.

New loos

A fantastic range of Clapham groups use the Contact Centre: cubs, brownies, scouts, Montessori youngsters, adults learning yoga, painting and dance; little ones learning sensory play, aikido & hapkido, ballet; Vera the Diva; Monkey Music, AA & more.

The Abbeville Fete, our own Summer and Christmas Fairs and many other events also use the Contact Centre.  In winter, the Robes night shelter gives Clapham's homeless a warm bed for the night, hot meals and (soon!) hot showers too.

Past users and members of the Holy Spirit Clapham congregation have already raised most of the money needed but we need £40,000 to get everything done ready for autumn 2022.

So…please dig deep and donate as much as you can.  If you're a taxpayer please sign a gift aid declaration so we can claim an extra 25%.

or if easier please send a donation to our bank account (ref. CC LOOS):
