The Summer Fair is the church’s biggest fund-raising event of the year. To help make it as fruitful as possible, please consider what you can donate and how you might volunteer.

Donate

From 2 June, we’ll be collecting donations at church:

  • Cakes and goodies – one of our most popular stalls! Please bake or make something delicious for our cake stall and bring it along on the day.

  • Summer hamper raffle – donate luxury food items for our hamper

  • Plants and garden – get planting seeds, taking cuttings and propagating

  • Books – give us your second-hand paperback books for children and adults

  • Pre-loved clothes and accessories – we are looking for good quality items – have a look at what’s lurking in your wardrobe

  • Bric-à-Brac – declutter and donate your unwanted bits and bobs (in good condition)

  • Wrapped sweets – for guess the number of sweets in the jar

  • Salads - to be offered with lunch

  • Scones or cakes – for our cream teas

Volunteer

  • Children’s activities – we’ll have our usual range of splat the rat, hook a duck, etcetera

  • Running or helping with stalls and serving food and drinks on the day
