Winter night shelter
This year the night shelter will be different.
Our guests will all be welcomed in Canary Wharf and we need volunteers on ten Saturdays (January-March) to cook hot food which we will take to the guests.
Each week, we shall need food and four volunteers to go with the food and serve it to the guests and chat and clear away afterwards. We expect to serve the food between 7 and 7:30pm.
We have also committed to provide “support packages” to the guests on three dates, one in each of December, January and February.
For these we shall also need volunteers to buy, make up and deliver the packages to the shelter.
We are looking for initial indications of interest to do any or all of the following:
cook and deliver food to church
prepare and deliver support packages to church
deliver food and support packages to the shelter
