Lent Talks: Quakers in the 21st Century - Time for a new business model?

Simon Lawson is the Chairman of Lawsons, the largest independent timber, building and fencing merchants in London and the South East.

Simon is a Quaker and produced a dissertation titled ‘love at Work’ , looking at Quakerism in the 1850’s and how they developed social policies for the greater community while building a profitable business.

His business model is to move towards a triple bottom line approach of making a profit , building community and facing up to its environmental responsibility.

Our Lent Talk, Quakers in the 21st Century - Time for a new business model? by Simon Lawson is on Wednesday 15th March at 7.30pm at Church of the Holy Spirit Clapham, Narbonne Avenue, London SW4 9JU (nearest Tube Clapham Common or Clapham South). Light refreshments will be served.
