The Contact Centre is a community centre situated at the rear of the Church
on Hambalt Road. It was constructed in the early seventies by the Parish, in
partnership with the former ILEA. The centre is now wholly managed and
maintained by the Church for use by the community. The building includes a large
hall, with stage, and kitchen, upstairs meeting rooms with a coffee bar, and
other facilities for children and young people.
Throughout the week a wide variety of groups use the centre,
including a Montessori parent and toddler group, other mother and toddler
mornings, Scouts, Cubs, and Brownies, A Darby and Joan club, Blueberry playsongs,
ballroom dancing, the Spring School of Ballet, and exercise classes. The parish
organises a number of popular events using the centre, including a Burns Night
Supper and Harvest Supper. If you would like to see the current timetable of
regular events please click here. For contact details for group organisers please click here.
The Contact Centre is available for hire by the hour. It is the ideal venue
for gatherings, parties, social events, classes and meetings. The price is
competitive and the facility is first class. For fees, terms and conditions
