Did you know we get no central funding for our work - we rely entirely on our members and supporters. If you can commit to support us it would be greatly appreciated.

You can contact you can call the vicarage on 020 7622 8703 or click here to contact us by email. Please note that the Vicar's day off is Monday - please try and avoid making non-urgent enquiries on that day.

For most of the common enquiries listed below you will either need to live in the parish or be a member of the congregation for us to help you - if you are not sure whether you live in the parish you might find the information here useful.

Adult Baptism and Confirmation

Even people who think they have no interest in religion may find themselves looking for a supportive community. You may be trying to make sense of your life or you may be facing difficult choices and decisions. If you are on such a quest, you may want to discover what your church has to offer.

At the Church we have regular opportunities for such enquiries, where we hope to listen to each other, rather than give answers before we have heard the questions.

For adult baptism or confirmation, we can offer possibilities for preparation throughout the year.

We can also give advice and guidance for individual spiritual direction and retreats.

Weddings

For all residents of our parish or members of our congregation, we would be delighted to help plan your marriage. It is important you contact us early to leave plenty of time for the legal arrangements to be made.

Funerals

Most funeral services take place at the crematorium, or cemetery chapel. But it is worth remembering that the Church of the Holy Spirit is available for funerals. In Church the atmosphere can be much less hurried, more reverent; you have the possibility of singing hymns or using other music.

A Funeral service in Church is not expensive. Should you ever have cause to deal with a funeral, ask the Funeral director about the possibility of using the Church.

The Parish has a garden of Remembrance where ashes of parishioners may be buried. Please contact the vicar if this is of interest.

Home Communions

Maybe you are unable to come to Church, but would value receiving communion at home. Or maybe you know of another person who is housebound. Do contact us to arrange this, for yourself or another person.

House Blessings

Please contact us if you would like a visit to your home, which could include a prayer and blessing on your home.

If you have any enquiries about any of these matters you can call the vicarage on 020 7622 8703 or click here to contact us by email.
